Saturday Lotto

The weekly Saturday Lotto offers six prize divisions with a guaranteed First Division Prize Pool of at least $5 Million and regular Superdraws offering prizes worth $20 Million or more!

Saturday Lotto is an Australian nationwide syndicated lottery game held every Saturday night and known by various names across Australia – TattsLotto in Victoria, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory; Gold Lotto in Queensland; and X Lotto in South Australia. Based on European style lotteries, Saturday Lotto was first introduced in Victoria in 1972 before expanding nationwide by 2013.

Each week 8 balls are drawn at random from a barrel containing 45 numbered balls ranging from one through 45. Of these balls, six are chosen at random as winners with matching three main numbers being sufficient to earn prizes in Division 6. As more main numbers match up with prizes in subsequent divisions, so too do prize amounts increase as more numbers match up!

There are two entry options to the Saturday Lotto: standard entry or system entry. A standard entry costs from $4.20 and requires you to select six numbers from a pool of 45 numbers; an alternative is purchasing a Marked Entry whereby you choose your own numbers at an additional cost.

Results of the draw will be broadcast live on Channel 7 or 7TWO (and associated regional stations) each Saturday evening between 8:30pm AEST/9:30PM AEDT at approximately 8:30pm. You can also watch it online by visiting 7plus. You may opt-in to receiving these results by becoming an OzLotteries customer and receive them in your inbox via email.

There are a range of add-on tickets that can help boost your odds in Saturday Tattslotto, including Lotto Strike (which provides an additional chance for winning by matching all five Lotto Strike winning numbers) and Multiplier (which multiplies prize amounts if your lucky numbers appear on winning tickets).
